Merry Christmas!

I hope you all are enjoying your homemade pepper pot - either made at your own house or enjoying someone else’s! My pepper pot this year is made out of turkey (trying to be healthy), instead of the regular goat meat. For those who unfamiliar with this traditional Caribbean Christmas dish, it is a sweet and spicy meat dish made from cassareep (a spiced reduction of cassava root juice - think molasses), peppers and spices such as cloves, ginger and cinnamon. Typically served for breakfast on Christmas morning with freshly baked plait bread.
